That's a myth in most cases promulgated by Thaivisa posters intent on ridiculing Thailand.

It's a shame that a Japanese tourist got targeted, they tend to be the most polite and unobjectionable people when they visit a foreign country, in many respects the ideal tourist ... except of course when they are invading, but let's not go there!

It was a relative post with some useful information and facts, something that your troll posts rarely do as you are simply not relative, have no information and shie away from any facts.
