What are these and are they worth anything

Featured Replies

So the MIL passed away a year ago and I was going through some old storage cabinets and found quite a few of these and some coins. Also found a bamboo roll up calender from 1979. I'm guessing that everything is from about that time. Thanks for any information provided.

Nah !! not worth anything l'll give you postage money to send to me.

I do not know but ...

there are large shops where you can buy /sell these items and if they are real ( if they are old doesn't mean real )  then they can be worth big money . Ask some Thai people in the village ( people who you trust ) , and look/ask where the shops are in your closest city .

Did Esso give them away?

Plenty of shops that would give you a decent price for them , just bring them with you  to different shops and you will soon enough learn the value of them.

Knowing a fair bit about amulets, these are a sort of commemorative items sold individually and in sets, there're thousand of variations of them, money value under a 1,000 baht.

...with millions in amulets....I can tell you.....you won't be given squ*t for them....

...they want them for free...or better still you pay them to take them off your hands....

Some amulets are worth millions, but sorry to say, not this ones

Get them checked for gold content.......

first set is normally not worth anything, couple hundred at most

second set are amulets of monks by the looks of it, if its a well known monk / temple it may be worth couple hundred and up depending on how many copies were issued

OK but all my money is tied up by K bank ,over 35 million baht and to release it I have to pay 1 million baht, so if you send me one million baht I will split the 35 million with you and also send you the pendants, what do you say???

They are definitely real, I can see the photo of them.

Some sort of commemorative coins concerning the "Budda King"

They are just medals and Buddha ornaments mostly for display purposes that people keep in cabinets or on show in the home.    I see loads of these still on sale today at some of the larger local markets. Probably made in a factory somewhere by the thousands and practically worthless, have no investment value whatsoever.

OK as long as your not Nigerian.

Seriously it is strange how Thais put value on these you should get them checked out.

If it's from 1979 then only 37 yrs.

Got value but wouldn't be very high.

But I personally like the item in the 1st photo.

Ask around,if it didn't worth more then 300 baht,I'll buy it from you.

Have you ever made a comment that is positive about Thailand on this forum? You seem to be suffering from a form of delusional depression.

I say you would be wrong, unless Nigeria is now part of the US.
