BANGKOK, 22 August 2016 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has acknowledged the Bangkok University poll on the government’s performance, urged all sides to support national development towards sustainability, says spokesman.

Government Spokesman Maj Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd revealed that Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has acknowledged the results of a Bangkok University poll, conducted to perceive how the public would grade the government's performance, which gave the government a 6.19 score in its 2nd year of work, higher than the score of 5.92 on the same poll conducted for the government’s 1 and a half year performance.

He said the PM has taken this result as an encouragement for the work of the government, and thanked all government officials who have been working towards the improving the public's lives, stressing that the government will proceed according to its roadmap, along with its campaign to increase the price of agricultural produces.

The PM has asked all sides to support the development of the country towards stability by helping maintain peace and order, abide by law, and to discourage all forms of corruption.

Meanwhile, the Economist’s latest ranking on the world’s most desirable cities puts Bangkok as one of the cities with the most remarkable development during the past year, with positive factors on security, public health, culture, environment, education, and infrastructure.

More proof that Orwell travelled to the future to research his books.

Oh, what a brilliant comment, Canuckamuck. I love it! Funnily enough, I just mentioned Orwell (I wonder why?) on another thread.

Right, NonghKhaiKid: I know, of course, that you could not possibly be thinking of another meaning to the word 'wind' (a posterior sound and motion in the rear atmosphere - ha ha!)

"...The PM has asked all sides to support the development of the country..."

Argumentum ad populum!

No matter how much he appeals to the people, the reality is that the junta's so-called "roadmap" will take Thais on a dizzy, spiralling journey down to a place few would want to go to (if they only knew).

Sheer fear has gripped the Junta .

They had wished the bombings were by people they knew.

No clues.......No evidence.....

Their fears now point to a greater Satan .

These announcements are just buying time .

Some wise enough will flee the country.

But their end is assured.

The propaganda is only now for a distant hope they escape first.

Was the score graded out of 100?

and to obfuscate the numbers further, the poll upon which the "pm" gloats, was about 1,200 respondents, drawn from a population of 68,000,000.

Question,,,  How many other countries have this many poll's regarding the PM, or in this case a leader of a junta???

The bigger the lie you gotta tell, the more polls you gotta get to tell it.

The economist must be full of ICE makers,  because boy have they got it wrong , all wrong, it wouldn't be so bad , but people actually believe ,  wouldn't be surprise if Prayut wins the Eurovision song contest next , the one thing you can rely on is the Junta rolling out improbable stats to satisfy their ego's and the longer they remain the worse it gets,  believe me.................................................
