Featured Replies

Hi, anyone know a good source for buying poly tunnels? Also what is an average price to pay.

Thanks in advance

DYI or turn key? There has been several threads that have covered where to

get most everything for DYI.

Turn Key, is all you do is pay for a package, they build/assemble and you

just start to grow, the opposite of DYI.

There was some info on the Hydroponic Farming Thread at the bottom of the

Main Page of the Farming Forum as I write this. There have been threads on

finding greenhouse film and netting.

It's hard to give suggestions without knowing if you want to buy or DIY.

For DIY, several places have adds in Home Agricultural Magazine and

places that sell greenhouse's/nethouse's.

ACK, Chia Tai, Metzerplas(NaanDan), Netafim all sell GH's.

You could try Aquaponics Thailand, they maybe able to give info.

Slack Jaw Chef, PM him, he had GH's down south and built some big ones in

BKK area, PM him for the contractors name. SJC has also posted in the Hydro

Thread I mentioned, in the last 3-10 pages, he has a U-Tube & FB page as

another way of contacting him.

There was an advert for selling poly tunnels early this year just outside Bangkok, as new condition. Only been erected for a month. Not sure if they are still for sale

Thank you for this, have emailed today to see if they are still for sale.

Thank you for the info, I do appreciate it. I will also check out the Magazines at the local shop.

If you want a greenhouse designed for tropical conditions, you might want to look at an ALMA greenhouse as sold by some professional Dutch horticulturists based in Chiang Mai: http://datt.asia Contact Menno Keppel.

Myself, when I get round to it, will be going for retractable roof greenhouses from Cravo in Canada. www.cravo.com

Wow that is some serious kit. We are only doing it for our home and not for commercial. Thanks for the links an info, interesting reading

If your thinking DYI, you can find these shops all over LOS, they make/sell frameworks

for shade tents. A shop might even do a greenhouse kit. This shop is in Korat and I have

gone by it every time I go downtown. Two pic's, 2013 and in 2014, it hasn't changed much

in they last 10 years. The second pic, shows some of the bent tubing before it's welded

leaning up against the wall across the street. It comes in many widths.

Pick up a copy of this Mag, any month, they will have adds for shops/factory's that sell

film, bug screening and attaching items. You'll need to be able to do more than just use a

screwdriver to do this.

The pic add, has most of this what you'll need except the frame(bent tubbing). Their www

probably sucks and it doesn't really show anything still, don't reply to @'s!!!! Call, Fax or visit.

You'll also need a Thai speaker.

Accent Thailand, Accent is from OZ, but you may try them for info on a kit or turn key. This

pic is after ying  became PM. they may have smaller or bigger for sell. They are on the E. side

of Don Mung Airport.
