American NFL football 2016 telecasts

For those interested, After many emails to True, they have confirmed that they will be televising the 2016 NFL  games ion the same format as last year. 

 

The first game will be televised on Sept.9  at 0700, live coverage of the Thursday night game between Denver and Carolina, a match up of last year's "Stupid Bowl" teams. There will be five games televised on Monday,  12 Sept starting at 0000, three live followed by 2 "first Air".  Then the Monday night game will be televised live on Tuesday morning.  True says that the actual schedule will be released 7 days in advance, but if it's like last year it will be more like 3 days.  The games will be televised on channels 666,668 and 683.

 

True has been airing replays of last years games on 668 at 0000 and 0800 for the past few weeks but do not televise the current preseason games.  Actually it's much more pleasant to watch the replays which normally take about 2.5 hours than the live telecasts since all American sports have become so commercialized that there's more stoppages than game time! A normal 2 hour game now takes over 4 hours to watch.
