We’ve talked about “Cambodia Town” on the Passyunk Post before, sharing news of new businesses like Boba & Co. and I Heart Cambodia and even talk about the plan to create a business association to bring together the community here.

To bring more fuel to the cause to formally dub this area as ”Cambodia Town,” there is now a song dedicated to this culture-rich neighborhood.

The song and video by Hella Chluy, which is a parody of Drake’s “Controlla,” highlights quite a few spots around the area. You see the 6th and Moyamensing street signs, Khmer Kitchen, Phnom Penh Market and plenty more.

If you check out the subtitles for the video, you’ll see lines like, “I wanna take you to the Khmer jawn” and references to Pokemon Go (check out our South Philly Pokemon guide here).
