Can anyone recommend a book or even two or three that I could read to help me before I begin a TOEFL course? I am hoping to teach young children (3-8)if that makes a difference.

Many thanks in advance

Looking at one right now that's called "Teaching English in the Primary Classroom" by Susan Halliwell. It's got great strategies for keeping kids attentive, having fun, and has loads of reproducible activities.

Another great resource for the OP is the internet. There is so much about teaching on it - and it's free!

Why are you going to take a TOEFL course? Was that just a mis-type?
