Apt. with direct phone line

Featured Replies

I have an on-line business www.portalmarket.com and I want to find an apartment or room in Bangkok that has a direct phone service so I can login, and not be hampered by an apt. switch board that usually has a 10 min limit or less. I have had trouble finding such a place and am wondering if they exist.

Maybe someone of the board members have a name of such good apartment, here is a link to the more expensive serviced apartments in BKK.

I had the same problem with my previous apartment that I lived at. The apartment gave me the option of having a direct line installed, but I would have had to shell out over 5000 baht for various fees and deposits to get the line installed. I never really quite understood what the exact charges were going to be, so I never went that route. I now live in an condo complex called PST Condo off of Rama 3 with a permanent TOT phone line and pay 100 baht per month plus phone charges. The rooms range in price from 10 to 20k.

Rent a house. I've found small ones in little sub-soi's for under 5K, but usually 10+, real nice five-story near a BTS for 15.

Another 10 year old topic.
