So I'm looking for an alternative for my wife and two young sons. Would love a resort or hotel right on the beach, no busy road between. Maybe a pool with a slide. If you need to be on the beach, the wongamat area is the only place in the north, in Pattaya itself, beach road is always an issue with traffic. Not sure if one can still pay to use the Grand Mirage facilities. Perhaps look for an apartment on the beach nearby and then pay to use the Grand Mirage facilities separately. Right on the beach, two bedrooms, 3 baths, modern amenities. https://www.vrbo.com/608297#photos My son and his family (2 adults, 3 kids) just stayed there for 2 weeks in August and it worked out very well for them.
