Teerachai

BANGKOK: -- PRIME MINISTER Prayut Chan-o-cha said yesterday Army chief General Teerachai Nakwanich had turned down his offer of a Cabinet position as part of an imminent reshuffle.

Prayut wants to fill two vacant deputy minister positions in his government, but Teerachai is no longer a |candidate.

The prime minister also denied reports that Olan Pithak, director-general of the Agricultural Extension Department, would become deputy minister of the Agricultural and Cooper-atives Ministry. He said Olan was about to retire and he should stay at home to look after his grandchildren so he was not under consideration as a deputy minister.

Prayut said the new cabinet members "could come from anywhere" and he had not yet reached a decision.

No matter where these new "members" may come from, the problem will continue to be the cabinet itself!

"..... he should stay at home to look after his grandchildren ....."

Priceless  :cheesy:

PRIME MINISTER Prayut Chan-o-cha said yesterday Army chief General Teerachai Nakwanich had turned down his offer of a Cabinet position as part of an imminent reshuffle.

What imminent reshuffle??? The one he denied yesterday?

If you are the PM, elected or "otherwise selected", the last few months of your Army Commanders time in post are a risky time!

Wise man.

He said Olan was about to retire and he should stay at home to look after his grandchildren so he was not under consideration as a deputy minister

So why doesn't the PM practise what he preaches?

Once again proving Darwin's law of admit to nothing, deny everything and pretend to be confused if the hands aren't quicker than the eyes and questions you aren't yet prepared for are falling like roadapples.

The army chief in the cabinet? Well folks that's a sign of things to come. The imminent reshuffle that the PM denied last week? Like no we are not going to buy any subs? Like we are leaving the healthcare system the way it is? His Indian name must be "He who speaks with forked tongue"
