while i don't know the exact date i do know that it will happen in the next 15 years or so. with the last 5 not being worth living, so i'll probably pull the plug before 2026.

it is liberating and - in a strange way - rewarding to know that you do not have to make provisions for life after 75.

You obviously are rather green as are your likers, when you book into a hotel they take two swipes of your credit card  (one to cover the cost of the room during your stay ) and the second as a deposit on whatever you spend on such things as you suggest. In general it takes two days after you check out to get the deposit paid back into your CC account.

I don't know the date either, but I would like to know. I'm almost 72 and still enjoy doing what men 30 years younger than I do. So, I hope to go well beyond 75, but no assurances.
