September 2, 20169 yr Trying again. Different to the norm. I have this sheet music that is 100 years old next year and for all I know that was when it was last heard , came to me via my grandfather who died in '77. He would of known the man who wrote it in an internment camp in 1917. Anyway can you read and play this. I can't find anyone who can in Los.
September 2, 20169 yr Hi, do you mean read the music and play it? It looks to me like piano music, any pianist could play it. Go to a music shop or Yamamha tutition center. Alternatively, download an app called SnapNPlay on Android or iOS. Take a photo of the sheet music (that's the 'snap' part) and it uses an optical music algorithm to read it. It will then play it back to you. Not 100% but reasonably similar. Your music has F-sharp and C-sharp so the key is D major. For it to sound correct, to set the key and clef you need the paid version of the app. Edited September 2, 20169 yr by jadee
