Insurance

Featured Replies

Hi out there

Could I get some info on motorbike insurance. I've got a Honda Click1110cc

It's 6 years old. I live in Bangkok

I would something that covers myself and the bike also the other party.

I've been quoted 1800 baht for 3rd class insurance but only covers 5000 for the bike and 50,000 baht for bail .

I been looking for ages and some good clear information would be nice.

Ok thanks in advance

Hi Bob58. Did you try the search in this forum already? There are a couple of topics with good info about motorbike insurance in Thailand. Have you looked into first class insurance?

Which companies or brokers that you found via search do you need clear contact information for?

AA and E Ensure for a start
Just need to know what options I have.
Thanks

Something wrong there.

Try Tokio Marine, I've gotten good enough packages with them before.

My main concern is the bail bond and coverage for other parties. The value of my own bikes not so much as fixing them here can be cheap, but the risk of dodgy cops and 3rd parties high.

Hi again tried Tokio Marine
They said that they do not insure small bikes ( scooters )
