OMGImInPattaya Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Owners of late model Mazda coupe, sedan, and SUV hatchback models should make themselves aware of a recall involving the hatch struts, which could cause them to fail prematurely (while you're standing under it loading the groceries). Admittedly we don't have much occasion to salt the roads in winter here in Thailand but one can never be too safe
tifino Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 my Mazda strut rust, wasn't the strut mount per se, but the part of the vehicle's body work, that the strut mounting assembly was bolted into. The entire strut itself was actually okay Was I more unlucky than most? or is the story actually about the body panel work where the strut is mounted?
