Cops ask men snapping selfies with blow-up doll at 9/11 Memorial to leave

Former aide describes telling Bush 'America is under attack'

Cops assigned to New York City’s 9/11 Memorial asked a group of men celebrating a bachelor party to leave when they started taking selfies with an inflatable sex doll, Fox News reported Saturday.

The blatant act of disrespect at the sacred site Friday sparked outrage after a photographer snapped pictures of the men with the blow-up toy. The incident happened as the city prepared to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks.

Fox News reported that a police officer stepped in and asked the group to leave. The men were reportedly from the U.K. and had been taking selfies with the toy in front of one of the Memorial’s twin waterfalls and reflecting pools.

An NYPD spokeswoman told FoxNews.com Saturday that officers handled the situation.

“They just told them to leave without any further incident,” Officer Arlene Muniz said.

Fox News reported that one of the men, believed to be the groom, brushed off the incident, saying it was just a bachelor party.

Well.....

If this is the best they could come up with to celebrate a bachelor's party it explains many of their actions once they get here & discover real women.....

OK OP l'll bite to both you and knowitall,  so where are you from ?  don't know why you are targeting Englishmen doing something stupid  !!!  Like OK yeah the English are the only ones that do that.

It's not as serious as the stupid Americans blaming Russia for everything is it. ?

Actually - this would probably be better off closed....

To use a "blow up" anything orchestrated on 9-11 by the remembrance pools with the victims names inscribed is beyond any measure of bad taste....

There's no place for this thread to go but downward/worse....

They are lucky to have been treated so cordially.....

When I went to the area shortly after the occurrence they wouldn't let anyone go anyplace that would give them a direct camera angle....

And they were not very cordial then about moving you along.....

Just a bunch of guys acting like idiots in public....  nothing to see here...

They were told to move along and did so..

Yet I'm sure some will try and turn this 'nationality - bash'...  then a nationality slanging match by those acting (verbally) no better than those in the subject of this thread....

To be honest - it doesn't surprise me that there are a bunch of Brit's who have behaved this way...  well more honestly, it doesn't surprise me that a bunch of guys of any nationality have behaved this way....

Ignorant Yobs, they are English so not very lucky if the English Teachers one meets here are anything to go by. They dont know 9/11 from 7/11.... Left Wing dropouts.

Very bad taste but what is much worse is charlie hebdo making awful cartoons to mock Italians who died in an earthquake 2 weeks after the event.
