Advice on what dedicated Macro lens to go for

If you are a Sony DSLR/DSLT user, the one, true answer is the Minolta 200mm f4 APO Macro G.

 

Now, if you don't feel like dropping more than 60k THB on a lens, both the Sony/Minolta 100mm Macros and all verions of the Tamron 90mm Macros are pretty good. Personally, I went with a Tamrom 90mm because I found a new one for cheap and the Sony/Minolta is a pre-digital design, which I have generally found to have (correctable in PS) purple fringing.
