I bought a motor scooter Suzuki 125 of my German friend quite some time ago, he went back to Germany  i have no contact with him can't find him anywhere, and yes we did not do the transfer into my name, i have the book, doe's anyone have any suggestions on if/how i can get the bike transferred into my name

My Thai wife says you cannot do the transfer if owner (the German) not in Thailand to sign the transfer. We have same situation with bike sitting in our carport owned by Canadian gent. Yes, we have the bluebook but need the owner.

 

As far as I know its impossible without the correct papers. Because he is not here it will be real hard.(if not impossible)

You have the papers, so just use it. The only disadvantage is that not having it in your name will affect the resale value.
