Klong Song
I have a bird visiting my garden that looks to me to have the markings of a robin/magpie but is much larger than the ones I usually observe. I have checked Birds of Thailand by Lekagul and Round and am still not sure. This bird is about the same size as a Greater Coucal and carries it's self in a similar manner as it struts around the garden. Sorry about the image quality, this was the best I could do with my phone. Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect

jak2002003
Its a Eurasian Magpie..... 100 percent sure. They do occur naturally here... and also some bird fanciers keep them as pets.. so maybe an escapee. Brings back memories of being in the UK... used to get lots of them in my garden. Klong Song
That may explain why it doesn't show much fear when I approach. Thanks for the ID. Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect
