z42
Haha these lot in charge at the moment are to truth, honesty, and transparency are whatwhat grit is to snow. There is more chance of plaiting sand than getting honest and accurate asset declarations from this mob. Got to hand it to this person for the brazenness though really
PatOngo
Now would the declaration of assets include those of the drivers, maids, relatives and gardeners in the employ of said officials?
aussieinthailand
What what's that? Not again,,,,, the last time the PM's brother attempted to declare his assets it all went very very wrong , Never fear big brother is here to the rescue yet again and in doing so revealed to the world their true nature, but try getting their fan club to accept the truth. NongKhaiKid
ALL officials, surely not. Isn't there an automatic built in safeguard for some that puts them above this sort of thing ?

Krataiboy
NRSA wants all officials to declare assets Bt209m in assets seized as major drug suspect arrested Interesting juxtaposition of "Latest News" ThaiVisa headlines. Purely coincidental, of course.
Dexlowe
It's not just a question of declaring assets - they can be hidden. It's spending. Check the spending. A figure should be set (maybe 100k) for any public servant (and their spouse, kids) to spend before they have to make a declaration about their purchase and then show exactly where the money came from. I'm sure there are holes in this theory, but it's one possibility.
worgeordie
Should be done every year, also with their tax payments, I am sure there would be some very interesting results, and some very imaginative accounting to try and hide assets. regards worgeordie
Retiredandhappyhere
After all the bombings, the Government went out of their way to advise the public to avoid panic. Now, they do this to their own colleagues! Assets will be changing hands like lightning if this ever comes into force.

Khon Kaen Dave
It will never happen. This assembly will be disassembled and reassembled toute suite A couple of them will either vanish or mysteriously commit suicide.Or it will just vanish like mist in the morning sun. After a few visits to people from the other people, this will just go away. All piss and wind, the assembly must be short of a few quid and this is their way of scaring up some dosh.
