September 23, 20169 yr This seems like something I should be able to find, but I can't get a straight forward answer! I have a non-O visa, I am a single dad supporting a minor child who I have full custody of. My next 90 day report will be due after my visa expires - so, do I need to go apply to renew the visa on (or maybe shortly before) the day that the visa expires, or at the end of my 90 day report? I haven't paid attention to this before given the timing of my visa expiration, my daughter and I are usually traveling anyway and I have the re-entry date to go by, but this year no travel plan and I am not sure which date to use. If someone has experience with this one, please share - thanks!
September 23, 20169 yr VISA is a VISA and that and the 90 day report lives their lifes completely separate. Have nothing to to to each other. Go and renew according to dates in your VISA Good luck Glegolo Edited September 23, 20169 yr by glegolo
September 23, 20169 yr You have to apply for your new extension prior to the date the current one ends. The 90 day report is not an extension it gives you no additional days to stay in the country.
September 23, 20169 yr Assumption: you entered Thailand on a Non O single entry visa (which is now used and irrelevant). You then applied for an extension of stay of your non immigrant entry. You must apply for a further extension in the 30 day period prior to the expiry of your current permission to stay. When you do so, confirm when they want a 90-day address report (basically unrelated to the extension). Edited September 23, 20169 yr by BritTim
October 5, 20169 yr Author Ok, that makes sense - thank you for taking time to respond, I appreciate the information!
October 5, 20169 yr If you are making 90 day reports it is unlikely that you have a Valid Visa Check your passport and see that you have an "extension of stay" which is not a visa. A new extension of stay (NOT a Visa) must be applied for before the current extension expires.
