BANGKOK: -- Claimants have visited the Technology Crime Suppression Division to enquire about progress in a case against a fraudulent ticket agent in which two arrest warrants have already been issued.

They were headed by Joey Lenermann, 35, who said that he had bought a ticket from Prayut Srisurat on the Panthip Market website to go and see the Japanese act "One O'clock", reported Thairath.

He plumped for the 1,900 baht ticket and Prayut called him later to tell him a tracking number whereby he could claim the ticket at a post office.

But the post office had never heard that number and so he went to Bang Ken police.

That was back in May. Two arrest warrants were issued in the matter for Prayut but as the case has stalled Joey and several other victims went to ask what is happening.

Reporters understand that arrest warrants were issued in both Pathum Thani and Makkasan for Prayut on a charge of fraud.

The total lost by multiple victims is thought to be about one million baht.

in thailand dont pay for anything unless it is in your hand. if you loose money, let it slide or you will be a victim for the rest of your life.

If you go to Nana or Soi cowboy; make sure it is in the girls hand or mouth. Then pay :)

Have the police invited Prayut to call in for a chat yet?
