Exchange Thai baht into Euro and Swiss Francs

Featured Replies

Is it easy to exchange Thai baht into Euro and Swiss Francs? For example at TT Exchange? I stay in Pattaya. Some suggestions for good rates? In the past i used TT Exchange to buy Thai Baht. But never the other way.

When converting baht to foreign currency you use the "Selling Rate" (selling your baht for foreign currency); not the Buying Rate used when buying baht.   And when looking for the best Selling Rate you are looking for the "lowest" rate because that means you will have to fork-out less baht to buy one unit of another currency.  It's reverse of the Buying Rate where you want the highest rate.

The TT Selling Rate would be used if electronically transmitting the funds to another country and there would also be a sending fee.    But if just walking into a bank or a money exchange with cash, the Notes Selling Rate would be used.

Thanks. I guess to buy Euro should be easy. But i wonder if they have Swiss Francs in stock. Apart from the Euro I will buy around 3000 Swiss Francs. Do they the note order somewhere?

As for superrich in Bangkok, if you want buy foreign currency you have to call them in advanced. Then they will organice the money.
