phetphet
I have a US$100 note that I would like to break down into smaller denomination dollar notes. I have tried several banks and they all just say no. Not interested. Does anyone know where I might manage this in Samui? Bureau de change or similar maybe. Am in Bangrak area, so Chaweng - FV area. islandguy
Try converting $20 into baht and get $80 back in dollars. Or $90.

They still said, "Cannot" I wanted to break it down to pay for a VOA in Laos next month. Apparently cheaper than paying by THB. Not the end of the world. Mole
The alternative option would probably for you to BUY the USD or GBP from banks here in Samui or SuperRich and request in the kind of bill you want. SuperRich does that, I know because I've done it before.
