September 26, 20169 yr Hello ThaiVisa, I'm wondering if there's any residents from The Netherlands or people familiar with the Thai Embassy in The Netherlands ( Amsterdam). I'm currently staying in Thailand with a METV visa ( 3 entries, valid for 6 months. ). I acquired this visa in The Netherlands in May 2016. Now I was checking the website of the Royal Thai Consulate Amsterdam, and saw the following message: "As of 15-08-2016 we do not provide multiple entry visas." (Original: "MET INGANG VAN 15-08-2016 VERSTREKKEN WIJ GEEN MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA." ) Source: royalthaiconsulateamsterdam.nl/index.php/visa-service/visum-aanvragen This would mean that the visa that I currently have isn't available anymore. When browsing through their website, I can only find the default Tourist visa which is valid for 60 days. I looked at Thai Embassy websites from other European countries ( ex: France. ) and there they still list the METV. My question is, did they really discontinue distributing METV for The Netherlands, and if that's so why isn't this applied to other European countries? I'm going to call the Thai Embassy in Amsterdam tomorrow to get some more information about this matter. I'll post back here so everyone is updated. Any additional information is welcome. Kind Regards, Menzo. Edited September 26, 20169 yr by menzo1990
September 27, 20169 yr You can apply for the METV at the embassy located at the Hague. The honorary consulate in Amsterdam can no longer issue multiple entry visas of any kind. Info here on embassy website for the METV. http://www.thaiembassy.org/hague/th/services/68066-Tourist-Visa.html
