Greetings All,

Best regards to Udonjoe,

Well,I have ED-visa from Thai embassy in Nigeria base on exchange program with an NGo herd in bkk on the remark it is written the name of the Organization.

I was advise on this forum to get a workpermit as CW IM told me no extension without workperit,So I spoke to the NGO manager about workperit, surprisingly  a staff at Labor department said on phone they've never issue WP for Ed visa,It's pathetic how IM rules are misinformed.

I am a Ghanaian passport holder,in this case what's the best solution to do?

any one have similar experience?

or it depends on the IMO incharge? please any advise to my problem.

You could of posted in your first topic.

I don't think a phone call  is enough to say they will not do the work permit. The NGO should go the labor ministry and ask in person about it. It should be apparent to them the non-ed visa was issued in error by showing them the visa with a notation about the organization on it.

As I wrote before all you get is a 7 day extension at immigration.

You will not be able to get another visa without returning home to apply for it since Ghana is on the list of countries that can only apply for visas there. See here for info: http://www.thaiembassy.org/kualalumpur/contents/files/services-20160902-152805-169970.pdf
