BANGKOK: -- THE PHEU THAI Party yesterday called on Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to stop trying to influence the justice process against former Cabinet members facing legal action over the last government’s rice-pledging scheme.

In a statement, the party cited Prayut's remarks in relation to Boonsong Teriyapirom, who served as commerce minister in the Pheu Thai-led administration.

The comments cited in the statement quoted Prayut as saying that Boonsong "should wait until he leaves jail" and that he should "finish his case before suing me".

As much as I agree with the PTP's defender here in what he says about Prayuth. His tone is more along the lines of being hacked off that his party members are being pursued for what appears to be large scale and endemic corruption to the tune of billions oh baht. All involved are bang to rights, yet seem to feel they have the right to play the victims.
Their greed is disgusting, and their attempting to play the victim to avoid punishment for their greed is even more disgusting. Regardless of how distasteful Prayuth is, these guys deserve to rot

Crying victim is the only strategy left when cookie tins don't work...

I wonder...cookie tins don't affect the justice process?

Yep. Pastry boxes, cookie tins, brown envelopes, grenades thrown at court buildings, burning coffins and effigies of judges, giving out judges phone numbers and addresses, senior politicians warning judges of the consequences of making the "wrong" decisions" - none of these affect the Justice process based on previous PTP behavior.

Corrupt lot of crooks whining because justice is finally catching up with them at last.

So funny coming from this whiny corrupt bunch of PTP thieves and terrorists.

Their leaders idea of justice is passing donut boxes full of cash to the judges then skipping town to avoid prosecution when he gets caught for it.

Sum Num na you scumbags.

Which just shows that you are as morally bankrupt as they are.
