PATTAYA: -- Residents of a Nongprue housing development had their wish granted when the Provincial Electricity Authority sheared off the branches of a dead tree perilously hanging over power lines.

Electrician Jakapan Wasikham led a team of PEA workers to Eakmongkol 4 Village Sept. 23 to remove dead branches near the intersection of Soi Khao Talo 7.

 

Residents earlier complained the branches hung over high-voltage lines and should a powerful storm hit, could break and take down the wires or even start a fire.
