General Prayut Chan-ocha as head of the NCPO; General Prawit Wongsuwan, General Thanasak Patimaprakorn, Admiral Narong Pipatthanasai, Air Chief Marshal Prajin Jantong, , Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew as deputy chiefs of the NCPO and members of the NCPO who include General Udomdej Sitabutr, General Paiboon Kumchaya, General Chaicharn Changmonkol, General Sorapong Suwan-ath, Admiral Na Arreenich, Air Chief Marshal Chom Rungsawang, Pol Gen Chakthip Chaichinda and Mr Meechai Ruchuphan. He was appointed as legal advisor to the then Prime Minister in 1973 and has stayed there ever since. He is favoured by the palace. These gentleman still have the last say in politics.
