I'm having troubles with Skype. We called the nanny state this morning and my family abroad could see us in the video but we could not see them. The small video screen showed us not them. The next time we call them how do I change the settings to allow us to see them in the video and how do I make it in full screen mode?

thanks

The OP points to the wrong direction.

They see you, so you (in Thailand) are fine and can do nothing.

They in nanny state (USA?) have either a problem with their cam or have accidentally switched it off.

First stop, check webcam setting/function with Skype.

"Tools" menu, "Options", "Video settings".

If they don't see themself there then they have a problem to fix.

Skype is a great platform with Apple products like laptops, iphones & ipads.

But make sure that the people you are tslking to in the US have the camera "enabled" for Skype.

Their camera might function fine using the iphone as a camera  but that does not mean it is currently enabled for the Skype App so it remains off until its toggled to ON.

They may need to switch it on.

Skype is a Microsoft product, so be assured it works on Windows as well

An additional idea for the OP:

it makes sense that you also open this video settings and check whether receiving videos is enabled.
