How to get 2 mth visa?

Featured Replies

Would appreciate advice about how to get a 2 month single entry visa while staying in France. I am dual citizen Australia/swiss..meaning 2 passports. I am visiting a friend in France till January 2017. Have a return airline ticket from Paris in January to Bkk. Would like to stay 3 mths in thailand...(2 mth tourist visa with 1 mth extension) but i cannot find an embassy who will issue it here as i am not resident in France, Switzerland etc. I will not be returning to Oz before Jan. but will leave after 3 mths in thailand to australia and stay till May and return to Bkk to pick up flight to return to France. Any ideas how to get this visa and from where??  I tried UK, paris, switzerland, siam legal for help but have got nowhere..:(. Visa companies are asking extortionate prices for a $45 visa! Any help greatly appreciated..thank you!

If you are have a Swiss passport I cannot understand why you cannot get one in Switzerland.

I am aware that the embassy in Paris only issues visa to citizens and residents of France.

You might try one of the honorary consulates in Belgium. List of honorary consulates in Europe is here. http://www.guidetothailand.com/thailand-travel-information/honcon-europe.php
