GOLD SCANNERS, HOMELAND SECURITY AT AIRPORTS

Lets say that, when you travel abroad, outside of Thailand, you are used to bringing along a few Thai baht gold pieces, as security, in case you need some emergency funds. Maybe your credit card will suffice. But maybe you have become a bit paranoid, of using credits cards, ATM's and internet banking. I know of several friends who of of this mind.
