90 Day reporting

Recommended Posts

Several years ago my friend used his, then, Pattaya address for his  retirement visa. He now lives on Samui, but has been told by immigration that he has to go to Pattaya every 90 days to report, and cannot change it.  Is this correct.

Great advice :shock1:

They really did tell him this nonsense?

Or lost in translation?

If he lives in Samui he has to register his address with Samui immigration (TM28).

You might have read that they penalized others with 4000 Baht for living at another than their registered address.

Why in the hell should i ask him that question, i am

not that nosy !

It was a reasonable question given that you claimed to know about your friends business and what he had allegedly been told about 90 day reports.
