October 9, 20169 yr Hi, after I marry my Thai gf we will be living in her Father's home for a period. My question is when I apply for a Non O Visa based on marriage is her Father's Tabien Baan (not sure of correct spelling sorry) acceptable? If not what alternatives are there?
October 9, 20169 yr It is the Tabien Baan that your wife is registered in that Immigration will want to see. If she's registered at her fathers address then it will be acceptable.

October 10, 20169 yr Remember to copy page 1 and the page your wife is registered. If she takes your last name and you have not updated her ID and house book take along the name change certificate as well. (Comes from Amphoe when you register wedding).

October 11, 20169 yr Non O Visas issued in the UK do not need sight of a tabien baan, all I needed were copies of wife's ID card, marriage certificate and passport. An EXTENSION based on marriage will require it.

October 11, 20169 yr they also want to see the same document of your landlord if you rent a house. as well the you and your wife both in person need to come to the immigration office when you apply for the extension. do not that you also have to register the address at the immigration the address where you live with the TM 28 and add a copy with the application for the extension Save you a fine if you not have done it yet they will check if you have done it when you come for extension of your application.

He has said he will be living with his wife dad for a while. If your talking about extending for 60 days at the end of the 90 he will need wifes house book details and Id with her in tow. When you move into dad's house pop into imigration with your mrs armed with a TM 30 Wife can do that as she is registered there and a tm 28 you fill in . Then when it comes to extending after 90 days just need mrs with you and form filled in with normal photocopies and 1900 bht
