Tightening of Visa's across the board ???

Featured Replies

I have just received this from a mate of mine, who is English living in Spain.

My mate just called me here in Spain.

Hull consulate have told him the entire Visa situation has changed.

Only Single visa entry are granted now.. no multiple entry on O or Tourist Visa.

Retirement still ok but being reviewed.

The visa must be issued in the country to which the passport was issued.

Phones going like mad as many folk are really stuffed up.

He is booked for 126 Days.

He is 66 years old so his Single entry Immigration O gives him 90 .. he can extend 30 office, but will have leave for 6 days via airport to cover himself and get back in.

All this being done on advice to counter Terrorism, and migrant workers.

Has anyone else heard or experienced this ???

Cheers

Moved to here.

Multiple entry visas are still being issued at the embassy in London.

It seems restrictions are being placed on what visas can be done at honorary Thai consulates worldwide. There have been topics about it before.

No he can't - the only extensions for him would be 60 days if he has a wife or child (they must accompany him), or the 7 day "get out the country" extension.

There is no 30 day extension of a Non Immigrant visa.
