These might be views and recollections of the Thai people about the king and personal memories. He gave guidelines for the dress of the public asking people to wear black and white clothing for the time being. Government officials may wear their uniforms or white or black shirts with black ties for men and black suits for women. He issued directives for pictures of the king to be draped in black cloth above and white cloth below.
