oldhippy
Poor Theresa. Being embarrassed by her own team twice in 1 week. Maybe the EU should give the UK government a year or so to have brexit negociations amongst themselves? And after that, Theresa could call fresh elections to strengthen her position in her negotiations with the EU? Eeeuuuhhh wait, maybe not such a good idea.... I agree that Verhofstadt is a loonie. But what do you call someone who does not honour his commitments and puts a dagger in the back of his PM? A Shakespeare character? I agree. We have obviously been affected by the influence of the EU. It must stop, in order for traditional British values to be restored!

oldhippy
To be perfectly clear: (source = Guardian) The Irish deputy prime minister, Simon Coveney, highlighted a line in the agreement that said commitments relating to Ireland would be “upheld in all circumstances, irrespective of the nature of any future agreement between the EU and UK”. Words too. Different words.
