BANGKOK, 22 October 2016 (NNT) – Many people have flocked to express their condolences for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion inside the Grand Palace.

People in Bangkok and from the provinces nationwide, clad in black attire, lined up to sign condolence books on the death of His Majesty the King.

Sanam Luang area and other spots surrounding the Grand Palace were packed with a large number of people including the elderly, children and family members.

Young people volunteered to distribute food and donated items to mourners. Some handed out their own inhalers and fans and others picked up garbage as a tribute to His Majesty the late King.
