Who would leave their kids alone with a dog? People can tame almost any animals. Elephants kill over 400 a year, and some of them are their trainers. Some animals shouldn't be pets of course. As many as 5 people are killed every year by deer that were raised since birth. I didn't disagree with that statement, just saying if cats were bigger they would do more damage. The fact remains, even though Pits can cause a lot of damage if they go off, like German Shepherds, Dobermans, Huskies, Rottweilers, Bulldogs and more, the majority don't hurt anyone. I don't defend vicious dogs of any breed, as people are bitten countless times by all breeds, especially if they aren't taught respect with love. I personally don't think the Pits and Rotts should be in a family with small children, just as a safety measure. -
