Steven Seagal in Bangkok to pay tribute to late King Bhumibol

BANGKOK: -- Hollywood action star Steven Seagal paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha at the Government House Tuesday morning during his visit to Thailand to pay tribute to the late King Bhumibol.

 

Mr Seagal reportedly said that he felt a special bondage with Thailand and felt aggrieved with the passing of HM the King whom he regarded as a great King who had done a lot for Thailand and its people.

 

The action star who made several visits to Thailand before disclosed that he would shoot an action movie in Thailand next year which would also feature Thai cultures such as Thai boxing and Thai classical dance as well as other aspects of Thailand.

BANGKOK, 25 October 2016 (NNT) - Hollywood actor and movie director Steven Seagal has met with Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha to express his condolences over the loss of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and to discuss his upcoming filming project in Thailand. 

Mr Seagal praised the late King of Thailand for his dedication to the wellbeing of his country’s people. His Majesty’s royal initiatives have also been recognized throughout the world. 

He also discussed with the Prime Minister his plan to film an action movie in Thailand, which will portray various aspects of Thai culture, such as traditional Thai dancing and Muay Thai.
