I just wanted to ask advice whether or not I need to purchase a return ticket if I've been issued an education visa that is valid for 3 months (single entry). I'll be leaving the Philippines this November to attend a language school in Thailand and was worried whether I need to present a return ticket at the check-in counter as well as at the immigration. My previous travels to Thailand was on a Visa On Arrival and the airline and/or immigration has often asked to see a return ticket before giving me my boarding pass or letting me through immigration. Will it be the same if I have an education visa?

With any kind of visa you don't have to show return ticket.
