Australian tourist who vowed to walk 900 kms to pay tribute to the late King in Bangkok arrives in Chumporn

Australian tourist Michael Hammil who started a solo walk from Koh Samui on October with the intention to pay tribute to the late King Bhumibol in Bangkok has arrived safe and sound in Chumporn province on Thursday.

 

The 46-year old tourist said that he would be able to arrive in Bangkok either November 3 or 4, walking an average of 50 kilometres a day covering a total distance of 900 kilometres from Koh Samui.

BREAKING news TM 28 has been scrapped. With the huge success of the new model TM 30 has proved a earner and more universal. We can fine anyone..Therefore TM 28 is now terminated.

Yes, it is a bit, but maybe he got on the ferry, walked around the deck 60 times and then walked from the dock to the main highway where he was given a police escort. Good for him.:clap2:

Interesting how some threads on the current situation are left open whereas the majority are locked !

Can't really express any opinions to be honest since the conjecture even with good intentions comes out like disdain getting far to embroiled trying to be somewhat humorous and pleasing for all and sundry
