Retirement Visa / Extension Jomtien/Pattaya Only

Featured Replies

i have recently move to pattaya from phuket where i have always done my retirement visa/extensions. shortly in the future i will be needing to apply for another year extension on the retirement visa. as most cases things are required and done differently at various thai immigration. with someone's recent insight doing the extension here in jomtien maybe i can save myself from a few headaches.

i will have an:

income affidavit

pattaya thai bank book and atm card

lease agreement where i am renting

electric and water bill

copies of my passport and previous retirement stamps

if someone is familiar with a recent visit to jomtien immigration. will there be any other documents needed or suggestions?

two other questions. how many months back will immigration except income affidavit?       how many days before expire date can i do the renewal?

thank you

If you have not already changed your address you may need a completed TM28 change of address form and TM30 form from your landlord.

Rental agreement should have signed copies of the owners house book and ID card attached to it.

Income affidavit up to 6 months old will be accepted.

You can apply up to 30 days early.

You can do 90 day reports up to 15 days early or 7 days after the report date.
