But on every occasion we make the 17K trek to Laem Mae Phim to our favourite Italilian restaurant "LA CAPANNA" The range of Italian food and wine is exquisite and the affable owner, Marco, kindly lets the kids eat crab or other seafood from next door. One of the best Bruschettas in Thailand, and the pasta is cooked perfectly al denti ... can't wait to get back. With the sun setting it makes for the perfect supper. Patriot Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 Went last night to the Capanna and as the OP said it was outstanding. Spaghetti Amatricana the best I've had. There is also a comprehensive Thai menu for the family members with no yearning for Western food!!
