Poll: Donald Trump +7 over Hillary Clinton in North Carolina, Now at 51 Percent

And growing.  The Trump Train is rolling down the track building up speed to an eventual victory!

A new WRAL/SurveyUSA pollshows that Donald Trump is now leading North Carolina by seven points ahead of Hillary Clinton — 51 percent to Clinton’s 44 percent.

That means that Trump has shockingly flipped his numbers in the state in just one month. Three weeks ago, Clinton was leading Trump by two points in the same poll – 46 percent to 44 percent.

I've been watching some interviews which take place at Trump rallies.  The interviewer chooses not to clash, but instead asks leading questions which enable the Trump fans to express themselves comfortably.  If the interviewer inserted any facts (which he surely knows) then it would quickly become confrontational, because Trump fans don't have a foundation on facts, only on rhetorical alarmist grandstanding by Trump.

The level of ignorance of Trump fans is profound.  One middle aged couple, for example, claim HRC, when she left the White House (she was broke at that time, according to them), .....that she sold between 200 and $300k worth of White House furniture.  Where did they hear that?  The interviewer doesn't ask.  Trump is so desperate in his alarmist grandstanding that he will incite his fans into believing the most ridiculous things.

These are the facts:

It was $134,000 worth of gifts intended for the White House but taken by the Clintons. They paid $86,000 to keep some of it and returned $48,000 worth to the White House.

You realize he's personally obsessed with destroying Hillary, right? He promotes anarchy and the destruction of the American political and economic system and what that will mean to the world. He knows trump will provide that. It's hilarious that right wingers now are fans of Assange.

If "Hill" was not a corrupt, real life Underwood, then she would have nothing to worry about. Nobody would have any dirt.

Its nobodys fault but her own.

You don't think its just as easy, hell, WAY easier to find ignorant "hill" supporters on Youtube? I can think of about 10 search keywords that would generate some real gems.

This time, eh? :clap2:

When are the wingnuts gonna get it? There is never going to be a "this time". As much as you wish you could pin something on her, she never does anything wrong. She pays her taxes. Doesn't make crude remarks about the other sex. Has policies for the advancement of society. Has a plan. Is empathetic to other people. She a good strong woman who is going to make a great President.

"This time." Almost makes me feel sorry for you. You're all so certain about "this time," like the last time and the time before that and the time before that and the... :violin:

Where are the convictions? The worst woman in history must have been convicted of something after all these years of investigations. No? That's weird.

His campaign strategy won't get him the essential current battleground states that he needs. He is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

No he isn't. In a state where 70% are dedicated Democrat voters the chance to get new supporters is much greater than in a state where only 30% doesn't support you yet.

Madoff cheated each and everyone who trusted him for 30 years, al that time in the full spotlight, before he got convicted

So we are not allowed to take any allegations or stories seriously unless there is a conviction?

Hypocrisy much?

I look at what Trump supporters assert (Obama is a Muslim Kenyan, for example) and what others say, and there's no question which group is asinine.

You're right. If the Trump train (with his sons, Christie, Palin, Carson, Guiliani, and other ignorant goons) gets in the Oval Office, it will run roughshod over every American who isn't rich, or isn't involved with a polluting corporation, or who isn't kissing Trump's ample bottom.

You should look at what "Hill" supporters assert as well for a full view. Do we really need to debate this? Its a non-issue. Plenty of equal amounts of asinine to go around.

You know thats just fear-mongering.

But I'm sure you, or someone else will come back with some NYT/WaPo article to prove me wrong and that "Hill" has americans best interest at heart and not herself or her party.

Let me float one up here. What if...? Bear with me, I know this is going to blow your mind.

What if Clinton has been getting away with it for all these years because she hasn’t done anything wrong?

BOOM! Mind blown.

What if emails on Weiner’s computer are just client-side copies of emails, just like the emails in the inbox of everyone else who downloads email to a computer?

What if Benghazi was just a tragedy and an example of how bad things happen in war zones?

What if Whitewater was just a land deal on which some people lost money because real estate speculation is risky?

What if Hillary Clinton isn't a liar as the always wrong right Fox News right wing media echo chamber has been telling you all for all these years and no one believes except wingnuts?

What if everything you believe is wrong? You should consider it, anyway. Join the rest of the human race. Move out of wingnuttia. Sublet your permanent residence there.

There is never any proof that sticks. It's always turns out to be conspiracy bullshit. What if the majority of Americans are right? And you're wrong?

What if...?   :shock1:

Meanwhile on the DT Tax front...

Donald Trump Used Legally Dubious Method to Avoid Paying Taxes

The best part of this article is the last sentence stating that Senator Hillary was among the Senate members to close the loophole that allowed DT to claim the $900M loss.

There is not a accountant in america that doesn't take advantage of loss.  Maybe they'll close depreciation too.   These arent loopholes they are the US tax code and they have had plenty of time to change it in the past.

What's the insult?  Hillary is going to be president of the entire US of A, .....all the people, regardless of whether some don't like her.  You'll notice the people around her are joyful to be interacting with her.  HRC is the candidate for inclusion.   Trump is the candidate for divisiveness.   As Biden said during his speech at the DNC.  "WE'RE AMERICANS!"

She might very well be president and be the first to be under investigation and possibly impeached. She might not got to jail because she will pardon herself.   Let see if the 650,000 emails show these staffers and hrc lied to the FBI and maybe their immunity will get revoked

Ever came up with you why, if she did nothing wrong, she had to hastily delete tens of thousands of emails and physically destroy hard disks etc?

BOOM. Mind blown.

A ton of state polls came in yesterday.  Importantly, most of these were conducted after Comey's announcement last Friday, so if there was going to be any impact from the FBI announcement, it should be present in these polls.  However, there are no real surprises.  The Comey announcement seems to have had no effect.

An excerpt from today's article in NPR.org:

"Some of the country's most prominent economists have signed a letter warning that Donald Trump is a 'dangerous, destructive' choice for president and urging voters to choose someone else."

The letter, first reported by The Wall Street Journal, was signed by 370 economists, including eight Nobel Prize winners.

The text stops short of endorsing Democrat Hillary Clinton, though, and doesn't criticize Trump on ideological grounds. Instead, it says he has made repeated statements aimed at misleading the public about jobs and growth:

"He misinforms the electorate, degrades trust in public institutions with conspiracy theories, and promotes willful delusion over engagement with reality. If elected, he poses a unique danger to the functioning of democratic and economic institutions, and to the prosperity of the country."

She's not perfect.

He's HORRIBLE!

To suggest they are equally bad doesn't cut it.

There's Simply No Comparison Between Clinton's Flaws and Trump's

At The Week, Damon Linker, who is no fan of Clinton, argues that despite all her weaknesses and petty corruptions, the choice on November 8 is an easy one. Trump “is a menace to American democracy,” he writes, “a know-nothing demagogic con man who hasn’t released his tax returns, who brags about assaulting women, who has invited Vladimir Putin to meddle in the presidential election while also suggesting on the basis of no evidence at all that the election will be ‘rigged’ against him, and who regularly uses social media to promote white supremacists and neo-Nazis (who increasingly feel emboldened to spewtheir civic poison in public). And that's just the most minimal accounting of Trump's offenses.”

It's not an exact science to know the exact factors. The Obamacare finance issue was already quite damaging. Hillary needs to hold on now ONE MORE WEEK to her still daunting (to trump) electoral college advantage.
