I made around 390 trades in the past 3 years (I counted) from my US to CAD account using XE trade. Today I log in and noticed they changed the platform. Right away I can smell it's just going to be problems from now on. Sure enough, my US bank account completely disappeared from the system. I call the CS and he tells me it's for my own protection (lol), but later says they don't offer EFT transfers anymore. The only way to do a transfer is to book a trade (via wire I guess), then they send you a confirmation email where you have to contact their bank with your bank account details.

 

What a joke.

 

So, can anyone recommend me a simple to use platform where I can send money from a US bank account to a Canadian one. Please don't suggest paypal, payoneer. etc...

 

 

 

Amazing,  I don't know how they can survive if this is the case.  Wondering if it is just the case for US citizens and the increased pressure on overseas banking services.
