Do I have to apply for the extension of stay before the expiry date of the visa (non Imm O multi) or before the valid deprature stamp date?

 

 - visa expires on 1 Feb but if I do a visa run before then and get entry until end April can I still apply for extension then or must it be before Feb 1st visa expiry?

Yes you can get a new entry before Feb 1st and apply for the extension in April.

• The expiry date of the visa is not important regarding an extension of stay.
• You can apply for an extension within the last 30 (maybe 45) days of any 90 day (entry) permit to stay.
