Bmouthboyo
Hi guys, i hate the supplied cable modem / router true supplied and have been playing with a new Asus as88u using dmz. Unfortunately he true modem / router doesn't have a bridge mode. Is it possible to use pppoe on my new router to bypass the true modem ? This might prevent the double NAT situation. cheers
smedly
it depends on the modes available on your modem I guess, can you not configure your ASUS as an access point and connect it through a lan?
DrWats0n
As them to swap out the technicolor for a Cisco EPC3928, which they'll do for free. Once you get the Cisco login using 192.168.1.1admin passwordNavigate to Administration - management - working mode and change to "bridge only"
