I think there are some people who will support whatever nonsense he says. He might come out tomorrow and say he's taking on a husband for himself and that he now wants to be referred to as Donella, and they'll express what a jolly good idea that is, and that they supported transgenderism all along. There is a parallel with Vlad though. Putin is now looking at the world through the optics of the 1850s. This deranged lot want to do the same. The one chink of light from all this is, ironically James Vance. I reckon he's playing a waiting game to invoke the 25th Amendment, and get the old fart carted out, just letting him hang himself through increasingly deranged statements, such as the latest one to clear out Gaza. Electioneering aside, Vance does have an interesting background. I quite like the investments he's made into fetal stem cell research for instance, marrying a Hindoo, liking a good curry. Bet his fans don't realise that. But he needs to lose the beard. Makes it look like he's hiding a double chin.- 1

You keep bringing him up in disparaging terms, so clearly you must be. That the best flame you can come up with? Try harder. Which interview? You spelled Trumf and Amerika wrong again, your inner German/Nordic is coming out. Puerto Ricans ARE Americans so whats your point? Show me where I have ever claimed otherwise or be outed as a liar (not that thats the only one). Where did I say that? Yet you kept going, viz: No, you didnt. Fear is OK. Keeps the peace. Trump’s $500 Billion AI Plan Leaves Europe in the Dust
The Chinese just destroyed the AI market in the US for the general consumer which is where all the money comes from - the mass market. I think they're (Deepseek) lying about the cost and effort involved but they appear to have given it away as well by releasing the whole thing for free. They claim it was done as a side project over a few months. This is a massive game changer all the same and it leaves companies like Meta far behind. The next step is for people to modify it and alter the built in censorship and bias that comes with all these models regardless of where they originate - which will happen over the next weeks and months. I expect the markets to react to this very negatively, in fact it could be the end of one era and the beginning of a new one.
