Fortuner/vigo 'a' Frames

You mean the front grill guard? I think the part name suggests what it is for but I don't think it has any practical purpose. I've got one on my white Fortuner but I think it's least matching of all colors (looks good on black Fortuner, I guess).

No practical purpose? And people pay for them to be fitted?

Saw a similar item in an after market catalogue described as a 'Nudge bar'. Suggests that they are used for contacting the vehicle in front! Perhaps this is the weapon to be used on those big USA pick-ups labelled DODGE RAM when complying with those instructions. :o

If you mean the polyurethane thing, we got one thrown in when we bought the car. They wouldn't give us a cash discount, but chucked in the nudge-bar, floor mats, very odd fuzzy dashboard cover (which looks terrible, but actually does a cracking job at dissipating heat) and emergency kit.

I'm generally against nudge-bars, but then again I've seen the parking-scuffs on the front of my wife's Honda Jazz...

Edited to add that they're useful for nudging shopping-trolleys out of the way at Tesco! :o

Hi dubeditions,

Welcome to TV,

For a question such as yours that is totally unrelated to the OP, it might be better suited to use the PM function and contact the other party directly or start a new thread. :o

It will take some time to learn all the in's and out's of TV (my learning curve is still nearly vertical :D ), have fun and enjoy. :D

Oh, and in reply to your question; haven't a clue but it is not hard to find a COPY of just about anything here.
