Hi,

 

My 8 year old British daughter is homeschooled and I am forming a co-op group. 
I homeschooled my eldest daughter (now 14) so I have lots of experience as well as many resources.

 

My approach is to use whole topics rather than individual study of math/English/geography etc.

 

For example  I have a workshop planned where the kids explore ancient Egypt.  Within the topic of "ancient Egypt" are all the skills pertaining to math, art, geography, history and science.

This gives a fun and engaging way to explore those necessary skills without a single text book or work sheet in sight!

 

Small groups are always ideal for co-learning, so I'm reaching out to ask if any other homeschoolers are interested.
